support@artificials.netHow do I send something?
On the receiving device tap Receive to show a code. On the sending device tap Send, pick what to send, then scan that code or type the short code shown under it. The receiver sees what is coming and accepts.
Do both devices need the same Wi-Fi?
For Android to iPhone, yes: the same Wi-Fi, or one phone's hotspot joined by the other. No internet is needed. Two Android phones or two iPhones can also use Nearby, without a router.
The devices can't find each other
Check that both are on the same network, pause any VPN, avoid guest networks that keep devices apart, and allow Local Network access on iPhone. If only one phone can reach the other, the sender opens Send and taps My code, and the receiver scans it.
Is anything uploaded?
No. There are no accounts and no servers. Files go straight from one device to the other, encrypted, and are checked when they arrive.
Is there anything to buy?
No. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
